Intel 320-Series 2.5" 80GB SSD for $120 ($1.50/GB). If you are good at remembering to mail rebates after receiving your item, a $50 American Express Prepaid Card is available by mail-in rebate. If you're one of the people who count a spending card as money back rather than money you have to spend, the 80GB SSD would come out to $0.88/GB.

To use the prepaid card, you must make sure to spend exactly $50.00 within the first 6 months. Easiest way to do that is when you shop for something more than $50, such as groceries, tell the cashier to put exactly $50 on the prepaid card, then you can cover the remaining balance through other payment methods.

This looks like a great deal for someone interested in upgrading their old desktop PC, but doesn't want to spend a $400+ on a brand new PC. This bundle includes a Biostar H61 Micro-ATX Motherboard with built-in VGA & HDMI video output, an Intel Core i5-2500 3.3GHz CPU, a single G.Skill 4GB DDR3 1333MHz memory module, and a Seagate 500GB Hard Drive. Cost is $310, plus Biostar has a $10 mail-in rebate on the motherboard when purchased today only and postmarked within 20 days of purchase.

You need to know if your existing power supply inside your computer has a 24-pin power (ATX) connector. If it has an old 20-pin, you may need an adapter or a new power supply.

The i5-2500 is a quad-core CPU with great performance numbers compared to CPUs older than a couple years.
