- Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 1GB Video Card & $15 Card for $35 after rebate
Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 1GB Low-profile Video Card for $35.
It can play HD video, and the reviews say it works great in a home theater PC.
Along with HD video, it carries surroundsound audio over the HDMI port, making it a perfect card for use with an HDTV and an A/V Receiver.
Many older cards do not carry audio over their HDMI port.
Also a $15 Prepaid Card is available by mail-in rebate.
Pioneer VSX-1021-K 7.1-Channel A/V Receiver for $300 with code EMCNHNG22 .
Usually sells for around $400, and some recently completed Ebay auctions sold this for $320 to $375.
Reviews are mostly positive, with several people reporting defective units.
2x4GB DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws X-Series 2133MHz 8GB Desktop Computer Memory for $59.50 with coupon EMCNHNH39 ($7.44/GB).
Also includes a free 8GB MicroSD Card.
This is the same price it was during Black Friday back in November, without a MicroSD card.
Overclocking-friendly 2133MHz speed memory like this is overkill for most people, so unless you are a custom PC builder who knows what overclocking is, save money and get less expensive memory for your desktop PC.
Drives:
Western Digital Green 3TB Serial-ATA Hard Drive for $170 with code EMCNHNH33 ($0.057/GB).
Been a while a 3TB hard drive has been priced found for under $200.
The reviews do show some people receiving faulty drives, though.
Beware that computers with older Serial-ATA controllers and older operating systems cannot support hard drive sizes above 2TB.
If you are unsure about your computer's maximum drive size, check with the specs from your motherboard/computer manufacturer.
If you plan on using with an external enclosure or USB docking station, only USB3.0 supports 3TB drives.
Intel Gigabit Network PCIe x1 Adapter for $28.
While most motherboards already come with an on-board gigabit network port, this would give a second port.
This is actually a nice price for this card, which usually sells for around $35.
Intel network cards are rated some of the best.
Rosewill 2-Port USB3.0 PCIe x1 Card for $20.
For adding two USB3.0 ports to a computer with an available PCI-Express x1 slot.

- Intel 80GB Solid State Drive & $50 Card for $120 after rebate
Intel 320-Series 2.5" 80GB SSD for $120 ($1.50/GB).
If you are good at remembering to mail rebates after receiving your item, a $50 American Express Prepaid Card is available by mail-in rebate.
If you're one of the people who count a spending card as money back rather than money you have to spend, the 80GB SSD would come out to $0.88/GB.
To use the prepaid card, you must make sure to spend exactly $50.00 within the first 6 months.
Easiest way to do that is when you shop for something more than $50, such as groceries, tell the cashier to put exactly $50 on the prepaid card, then you can cover the remaining balance through other payment methods.

- Portable 500GB USB3.0 Drive for $80 (expired)
Iomega Prestige Portable 500GB USB3.0 Hard Drive for $80 through tonight.
While this is about $10 to $20 more than it was last year, hard drive prices have risen quite a bit over the last 4 months, and this is actually about $20 less than most other stores.
Not a bad deal at $0.16 per GB for a portable drive that powers itself through the included USB data cable (no separate power cable needed), and compatible with both USB and USB3.0 ports.
Newegg.com

The Wintec cards have great reviews, and seem to be some of the best performing and most reliable memory cards on the market.
Also another deal:
OCZ Vertex 2 120GB Solid State Drive for $140.
Also a $30 Prepaid Card is available by mail-in rebate.
On the surface this looks like a great deal for an SSD, but read the reviews and you may not think so.
There are many complaints about this drive including a chipset that some claim to be slower, less reliable, and provide less disk space than most other chipsets.
Also there are some reports of drive failures.
Be warned of potential hassles if you decide to buy this drive.
If you are looking for a great SSD, our recommended picks are any drive with a Sandforce chipset.
Tough to find one of those priced under $1.50/GB, but most of them should be high performers and reliable.
On a side-note, it appears that hard drive manufacturers are still only beginning to recover after the devastating floods in Thailand which crippled the hard drive industry.
According to some media reports, hard drive manufacturers may not return to pre-flood production levels until this Fall (maybe 9 months).
That means a 2TB hard drive which goes for $225 to $250 today may see a price drop of about $10 to $30 in the next couple weeks, however the average price of 2TB drives may only drop about $10 per month for the foreseeable future.
This is sad news since a 2TB hard drive went for around $70 ($0.035/GB) back in October, but the good news is things are recovering.
Cyberpower 1500VA UPS for $147 with code EMCNJHN33 .

The Lenovo T420 and X220 Thinkpad deals from earlier this week should have SDXC-compatible SD card slots, so being able to add 64GB of removable solid state storage to your laptop for $70 is a great deal.
